It is now officially 20 minutes into my summer vacation, and I am LOVIN' it.

Hoho, I'm finally free for the next few months, but only for a given amount of free. I'm taking a few summer classes, including the looming goliath that is the Senior Culminating Project. I can't use a semester's worth of precious, precious credits on doing it during the year, especially since all the classes I'll be taking are yearlong (and AP, except for orchestra... hello masochism, old buddy).

But here's what I'll be up to:

Culminating Project
My topic's actually going to be really fun to work on: producing a 2D animated film short with original soundtrack. Drawing, video editing, and music all in one! I'll also be looking into whether I can get the finished product aired on the local tv channel, since their building is less than half a mile from my house XD. And yes I realize traditional animation's a metric butt-ton of work, but I've got lots of hours I need to log on for this XD.

Drawing Class at the Community College
It's just the one class, I earned a scholarship for an art class at OC through a gallery show our Studio Art class was featured in (which covered 3/5 the total cost, ffff XD). I wanted to take the ceramics class, but it was during the CP class in the morning. Still, I'm excited!

AP Lit, Chem, Studio Art Homework
Great expectations, 3 optional chem chapter packets (I'll do them anyways), and to get 3-4 pieces done by the time September rolls around. I'm not anticipating too much difficulty with these; I love reading, and the chemistry's gonna be somewhat basic since it's the first three chapters. For art, the OC class'll have me pumpin' out lots of drawings, and I've lugged hoe about 50 pounds of clay the past two days so I can work on 3D stuff, too.

So it's not totally obligation-free, but what I'll be dong are things that are fun and make me happy, so it's all good. Other than that, I plan to eat, sleep, and VIDEOGAME. (and clean up, too... I guess... ) Seriously, I try not to play videogames during the year, because I lack discipline and like to play in 12 hour stints and if I did play during the year I'd fail all my classes. So, videgames are a summery pleasure. I also want to make something for :iconragutaki-otoko:'s contest, because I like his characters .

BY THE WAY, sorry for loading a gazillion pictures at once and flooding your inbox if you're my watcher, it's from my studio portfolio and I've just gotten around to loading them up (losing the pen drive for two weeks didn't help, lol). There's some more in my scraps, too.
